1.JACKSON FIVE (Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael Jackson)

The Jackson 5, Jackson Five (also spelled The Jackson Five or The Jackson 5ive, and later as The Jacksons) were brothers singing group from Gary, Indiana. Jacson 5 have received the first 2 Grammy Award nominations.

Founding member of the group, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon and Michael Jackson formed this group after changing its name to The Jackson Brothers, which originally consisted of the three oldest brothers. Active from 1966 to 1989, the Jacksons brothers experimented in music R & B, soul, pop and disco last. During the 6-year career at Motown, the Jackson 5 were one of the biggest pop phenomenon in the 1970s [1].

Jackson 5 start releasing singles ("I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save", and "I'll Be There"), which reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. charts. Some singles, such as "Mama's Pearl", "Never Can Say Goodbye" and "Dancing Machine", topped the Top 5 pop hits and number one singles on the charts R & B. Mostly written and produced by their special songwriter at Motown, "The Corporation"; Jackson 5 songs were later largely done by Hal Davis. In the late 1970s, the Jacksons brothers began writing and producing their own songs.

2.The BEATLES

The Beatles were a rock and pop band from the legendary Liverpool, England. Consisting of four personnel, namely John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Star.

Most of the songs of The Beatles were formed in 1959, was written by Lennon and McCartney.

Popularity of The Beatles no doubt, to the press in which they live spawned the term 'Bealesmania' for fans of The Beatles.

3.ABBA

ABBA's success continued until 1978 when Benny Anderson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad decided to get married after marriage Bjorn Ulvaeus and Agnetha Faltskog. 3.GREEN DAY

Green Day is a punk rock genre music group from California, the United States and consists of Billie Joe Armstrong (lead singer, guitar), Mike Dirnt (base, supporting singer), and Tré Cool (drummer, singer supporter). Green Day has been recognized in the music world because of their success in restoring and re-create the famous punk rock genre, along with bands of the 1990s such as The Offspring and Rancid.

Their music has influenced many other punk bands such as Blink 182 and Good Charlotte.

This musical group has sold over 24.2 million albums in the United States and more than 53.1 million albums worldwide. Green Day has won numerous awards, such as the MTV Video Music Awards and the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, as well as various other awards, and has won three Grammy Awards (Best Alternative Album for Dookie, Best Rock Album for American Idiot and Record of the Year for Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

4.The ROLLING STONES

The Rolling Stones are an English rock band that became famous since the 1960's still exist until now. If the analogy, The Rolling Stones are a rock is still rolling, who knows how long.

Formed in London, January 1963. But actually the forerunner Stones has been around since 1962 with the initial formation consisting of Mick Jagger (vocals, harmonica), Keith Richards (Lead Guitar), Brian Jones (Rhythm Guitar, Harmonica), Mick Avory (Drums) and Dick Taylor (Bass ). Later the drummer Mick Avory of The Kinks eventually joined DBP davies Ray and Dick Taylor founded his own band called The Pretty Things

The band with the formation of the quintet was founded by Brian Jones (born in Cheltenham, England, February 28, 1942). He left Cheltenham and went to London to make music group. Prior to founding The Rolling Stones, Brian had joined the band Cheltone Six (As a clarinet player) and The Ramrods. When in London, Brian met with Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, who where eventually they all formed a band called Little Blue & The Blue Boys

5. METALLICA

Metallica was first established in Los Angeles - United States under the name The Young of Metal Attack. A few months later the group changed its name to Metallica said a combination of Metal and Vodca said. Metallica's name was actually a proposed name for a music magazine that was stolen by Lars Ulrich before the magazine got the name.

Formation is the first Metallica Lars Ulrich (drums), James Hetfield (vocals and guitar), Lloyd Grant (guitar) and Ron Mc Govney (bass). Formation is what gave birth to the first song called Hit The Light, which then go rock compilation album Metal Massacre in 1981.

After circulating Metal Massacre, and Ron Grant resigned. Grant's position was replaced by Dave Mustaine and Cliff Burton replaced Ron positions. This formation later in July 1982 issued a demo-album No Life Till Leather. Demo is then delivered Metallica get an agent and then moved to New York.

In 1983, Metallica plans to do a short tour to several cities. Unfortunately Hetfield and Mustaine instead involved in a row, until finally Mustaine out and later founded Megadeth. Position Mustaine was replaced by Kirk Hammett, Exodus guitarist of the group. The third formation is then issued the album Kill 'Em All in May 1983.

In 1984, Metallica was compounded by issuing the album Ride the Lightning. This album survived 50 weeks in the Billboard Top 200. Demi facilitate their promotion also released a mini album Jump In The Fire.

September 1985, Metallica's Master Of Puppets album produced. Back Metallica entered the Billboard Top 40 for 72 weeks. This album is an album that went platinum without a single and video.

On 27 September 1986, on tour to Scandinavia - the bus they were traveling crashed and Cliff Burton (bass) died. This event was hitting all the band members. Even Dave Mustaine of Megadeth was founded, the death of Cliff in the song In My Darkest Hour (Megadeth album: So far .. So Good .. So What!). October 1986, the position was replaced by Cliff Burton, Jason Newsted, bassist of the group Floatsam And Jetsam.

This group currently consists of Lars Ulrich (drums), James Hetfield (vocals and guitar), Kirk Hammett (guitar) and Rob Trujillo (bass). Former members include Ron McGovney (bass), Dave Mustaine (guitar), Cliff Burton (bass) and Jason Newsted

6.GUNS N ROSES

March 1985, the former lead singer Axl Rose Tracii Guns Hollywood Rose and LA Guns guitarist ex plans to form a group that is eventually given the name Guns N 'Roses. The group was founded in Los Angeles, the United States is changing personnel had even Tracii Guns had to pull out of this group.

Their first album Appetite for Destruction released 1987. This album sells for singles sorts Welcome to the Jungle, Sweet Child o 'Mine and Paradise City.

Their second album, GN'R Lies are not as popular as their first album, single sweet Patience is not a strong enough album sales lift. However USE YOUR ILLUSION double album USE YOUR ILLUSION I and II which brought back the release of their 1991's heyday to GN'R. Two of the album contains many songs that later catapulted the name Guns N 'Roses, such as: Do not Cry, November Rain, Civil War, Knockin' on Heaven's Door, and Estranged.

Album The Spaghetti Incident? they separated in 1993 seems to be the sign of the end of the triumph of GN'R. The album that contains songs recycled from other artists is not able to reap the benefits as previous albums.

GN'R were in their heyday formation: Axl Rose, Slash, Izzy Stradlin, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed and Matt Sorum.
